Enhance your existing horsemanship skills

  

Participants of this 2-day masterclass will be guided by renowned equine specialist, Leanne Caban, through a series of activities designed to further develop their existing horsemanship skills.

 

These skills will focus on both foundation and precision equine training to achieve suppleness, body control and responsiveness in your equine partner.

 

The Stockmanship (Equine) Masterclass is a non-accredited program – students will receive a certificate of participation.

COURSE & FEE STRUCTURE

The 2-day Stockmanship (Equine) Masterclass is ideal for those who want to develop their existing skills in horsemanship.

Focusing on both foundation and precision equine training, the skills developed in this course are transferable to any equine discipline.

The Stockmanship (Equine) Masterclass is a non-accredited program - students will receive a certificate of participation.

Course fees

Fee type 2-day Masterclass
Fee-For-Service (FFS) fee rate $500 per person

  • Overnight accommodation available (inclusive in price)
  • Additional accommodation available on request (will attract extra fee)
  • Meals provided in dining hall (inclusive in price)

Foundation equine training

EQUINE 1

The material contained in this course unit does not provide accredited training outcomes. This course has been developed in response to meeting the needs of the industry for which it is targeted.

Precision equine training

EQUINE 2

The material contained in this course unit does not provide accredited training outcomes. This course has been developed in response to meeting the needs of the industry for which it is targeted.

Additional Information

Health and safety

  • No Stallions
  • Riding helmets to be worn (can be supplied if required)
  • An exclusion zone will be setup for Biosercurity, overnight stabling of private horses available (owner to supply own horse feed).
  • QATC reserves the right to preclude any horse or rider as deemed necessary for the health and safety of participants and staff.
