Generous donors support our students by providing scholarships.  We appreciate the support of numerous industry organisations and individuals for our students to undertake studies.

Queensland Agricultural Training Colleges (QATC) and our industry partners offer the following scholarships:

The Central Highlands Cotton Growers & Irrigators Association and Cotton Australia's Scholarships

The Central Highlands Cotton Growers & Irrigators Association (CHCG&IA) and Cotton Australia will offer financial scholarships to students who are enrolled in Certificate III based programs (including Access Ag) at Emerald Agricultural College in 2018.

The Scholarships shall be open to candidates who:

  • Are enrolled/enrolling at Emerald Agricultural College (EAC) in a Certificate III based program at Emerald Agricultural College:
    • Access Ag
    • Cropping Skills
  • Can demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a career in irrigated or dryland cotton farming
  • Must be eligible to live, work, and study in Australia
  • Have not already received any other scholarship or bursary for their course for the 2018 study year.

Australian Wool Education Trust VET Scholarships

The Australian Wool Education Trust was established in 1997 to support wool and sheep education in Australia.  The Trust supports Vocational Education and Training related to the sheep and wool industry via scholarship to students attending institutions, including Longreach Pastoral College, in this sector.

Three (3) Australian Wool Education Trust VET Scholarships each to the value of $3,000 are available to students attending Longreach Pastoral College to undertake the Sheep and Wool Production course in 2018.

CQU Bachelor of Agriculture: QATC Scholarship

Queensland Agricultural Training Colleges is proud to support CQUniversity Bachelor of Agriculture students, through offering one scholarship comprising full board and accommodation on campus at Emerald Agricultural College for the 2018 university academic year.

'Julune' Farm Management Services Scholarship

'Julune' Macadamia Farm Management Services are offering the support to one student in 2018, to the value of $1,000.  For more information, download the terms and conditions here.

Rotary TASTE Scholarships

For a number of years, many of our TASTE attendees have been helped to go to TASTE through the generous support of the Rotary Australia community.  

Rotary Clubs across Queensland have backed TASTE participants to learn more about career opportunities in agricultural and rural industries through funding a variety of factors including program fees and/or transport costs to and from TASTE.
