Traineeships and Apprenticeships

Undertaking a traineeship or apprenticeship qualification through Queensland Agricultural Training Colleges (QATC) allows the student to complement and cement their theoretical training with paid, on-the-job practical training.

We offer a variety of traineeships and apprencticeships qualifications. Traineeships can be fulltime, part time or school-based. Qualifications available for trainees  include agriculture, dairy, horticulture, production horticulture, and conservation and land management. Retail butchery is available as an apprenticeship. Our courses are designed for both new entrants to the industry and experienced workers.

Where eligible, training may be funded by the Queensland Government under the User Choice program.
